Q. Since New Type went down, I don't know what I should subscribe to. I' m looking for something that can help me keep up to date with anime as it is released, so some thing based on news and previews would be great. Asked by Walter T - Sun Apr 5 12:39:49 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. I feel your pain. The day NewType died was a sad, sad day for anime fans. You could give PiQ a try, the last time I checked Gary Steinman was the editor of this magazine as well. So that might mean its readable. And then there's a magazine I've been thinking of picking up for a while now, I think it was called Otaku USA. It looked like a NewType knock-off so it might have some promise too. One I'm actually subscribed to right now is Yen+, but its a manga/manhwa magazine. Not really any anime to speak of in there. : / Answered by Sake-chan - Sun Apr 5 12:56:45 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Publications"
