Felinae is a subfamily of the family Felidae which includes the genera and species listed below. Most are small to medium-sized cats, although the group does include some larger animals, such as the Cougar and Cheetah. The earliest records of the Felinae are ascribed Felis attica from the late Miocene (9 Ma) of western Eurasia.

I have some bleached feline bones that are broken. What is the best thing to use to glue them together?
Q. I have a feline jaw and pelvis. Both need to be mended back together. What is the best thing to use? how i got the bones: My cat got sick two years ago. When she died, I buried her, and let her decompose just under the ground. I dug her up, now, and am using the bones to make keepsakes of her. :) I'm a little morbid, I guess.

A. *gasp* That is more than "a little morbid". I hope they don't smell any more. my opinion is that you should take little splinters of wood and coat them with plain old Elmer's Glue and jam one in one side and fit the other piece over that so it goes together. That way you won't have glue showing on the outside and it will strengthen the bones a little.

How do you know if a feline is pregnant?
Q. I have a feline, she was always pretty normal looking, but now her stomache looks a BIT baggy, and her um...things (where the milk would come out) are swelling up a tad. I do have a male cat that is always playing with her, but she gets aggressive when he does much, so Im not so sure of shes pregnant...please help.

A. The first distinct signs of pregnancy happen around two or three weeks after mating. If pregnant, your cat's nipples will start to "pink up" and enlarge a bit in preparation for milk. Then, at between three and four weeks of pregnancy, she may get morning sickness and vomit from time to time. From four weeks onward, the kittens will be visible on an x-ray or sonogram, and may be able to be counted. Finally, at five weeks your cat's abdomen will start to enlarge. At roughly seven weeks, the queen may begin to lose her appetite and refuse to eat. At this point, the kittens' movement can easily be felt. At seven to eight weeks, she will spend a lot more time grooming herself and might look for a place to have her kittens. Her nipples will… [cont.]

Recurring illness is a sign of Feline Leukemia?
Q. I've searched a lot online regarding Feline Leukemia symptoms and one that always comes up is "recurring illness", but it doesn't elaborate any more than that. What does it mean by recurring illness? How often should the illness occur for it to be considered recurring?
Asked by PollyEster - Fri Oct 5 08:46:32 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Actually recurring illness is a risk from this disease not a symptom. Symptoms are Loss of appetite Slow but progressive weight loss, followed by severe wasting late in the disease process Poor coat condition Enlarged lymph nodes Persistent fever Pale gums and other mucus membranes Inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) and mouth (stomatitis) Infections of the skin, urinary bladder, and upper respiratory tract Persistent diarrhea Seizures, behavior changes, and other neurological disorders If yoiu rhink your cat has it but you are not sure, the vet can preform a simple test and the rsults would be immediate If just infected it may not show up so another test would need to be preformed 4-6 months down the road. Hope this helps

Feline. flea control is made easier by spot-on flea control products, but adverse reactions have been reported to the EPA. Non-toxic flea control is safe, but not as easy.
