I have my pugs' akc paperwork with her five generation pedigree, but I want to know how I can find...?
Q. More info on the parents, grandparents, great grandparents. I see the DNA numbers, the registration numbers, etc, but I would like to be able to see an individual dogs lineage, if that's a possibility? I've been searching all over the AKC website, but it hasn't provided me with any info. Just looking at the names and the "family tree" doesn't tell me anything about the dogs. So I'm just wondering by anyone with experience if there's a way to delve deeper to looking at the dog's lineage? Thanks! Hm, I guess my question wasn't quite clear. I guess what I'm asking is if there is a way to see if and what awards and titles have been given to any particular relative? Or would it state it next to the dog, and if so, where? I'm not too familiar… [cont.]

A. WHat would you like to know? Only certain information is documented. You would have to get in touch with those individual breeders for extensive information. Edit: Ohh, I see. Well any Ch titles or something comparable would appear on the dogs pedigree. SOme titles (such as, say, Schutzhund) would not.

Any QH experts out there now?
Q. I asked this question earlier, but I only got one response. I'm hoping with some of the experts on now, I might get some more. I am curious if anyone could tell me anything about my horses bloodlines/ breeding. I know a lot of you guys are great at this sort of thing. His name is Quincy's Direct Hit by Custom Quincy out of a TB named Melissa Missile. I can't find anything on his dam, but this is his sire's pedigree. I recognize Three Bars, so that must mean he has some good blood in there some where, right? Maybe someone with a membership can get my guys pedigree off AQHA's search, or get his mom's info off some TB database. Also, what do you think of his conformation? He's been lame for a long time, was diagnosed with torn… [cont.]

A. Top side's not bad! Send me in an email his registered name and I'll go look it up on AQHA. Sometimes having a lifetime membership does have it's advantages.
