From Google News Search: "Academic Departments" Is it bad to have two departments co-sponsor and event? Q. This probably seems silly, but I want to make sure. My student group is hosting a speakers series (or hoping to host, rather) at our university and we need to have it co-sponsored by an academic department. The two departments that came to mind are the International Affairs and Poli Sci depts. Would it be out of line to ask them both to co-sponsor? I mean, I doesn't seem like it would be, but I want to make sure it's not like one department is stepping on the others toes or something like that... Thanks for your help! You can major in those and I would highly advise it. That is a great combination. Answered by tonytbag - Tue Jan 29 20:25:44 2008 Do we need the opportunistic councils to govern the deterministic science?
Q. The recent decision made by various academic policy makers and administrators make us to think that those sitting in the various academic councils are cheaters. It is generally believed that the politicians and the businessmen are opportunists. But, the decisions and actions of the Indian academies reveal the hardcore fact that academicians are the worst cheats. Science is purely deterministic while commerce is purely opportunistic. Indian Universities are meant loot the public and earn money. They are not meant to cultivate arts and science. In the recent past, various colleges in Tamilnadu started Bioinformatics course. But, all of them closed the department of bioinformatics. Every academic department is supposedly instituted to… [cont.] Asked by The Master Knowledge - Sat Sep 4 06:07:15 2010 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments From Yahoo Answer Search: "Academic Departments"
