How long does it take for a tongue piercing to heal?
Q. I'm considering getting my tongue pierced. It's a totally impulsive idea at the moment. I want to get some answers before I get it done though. For my job, I can wear no jewelry at all. How long does it take for a piercing to heal and you are able to take it out without worrying about the hole closing? I also play a few wind instruments. Does it affect how you play? Also, on a scale of 1-10, how bad was the pain during and after the piercing? Any answers you can give me would be amazing!
