How do I install Office 2003 on a computer with no Disc Drives?
Q. I just bought a netbook, it has 2 USB Drives, a network cable port, and an SD slot... Without buying an External CD Drive <--- How do I install Office 2003 on this computer, I have 3 other PCs. I already tried moving all the installation files from CD over to an SD card and installing from the card which didnt work, I moved those files to the desktop and it wouldnt do it there either. I really dont want to buy an external drive.

A. There is a much simpler way to do this. You can share a CD drive over the network. This method has the added benefit of allowing you to install anything else you want without copying, creating .iso files, or anything else more complicated that simply installing from a remote drive (by which I mean simply finding the shared CD drive on the network and double-clicking on it). _.

Q. I have an 2003 03 Monte Carlo SS Limited Edition Jeff Gordon that i baught brand new in 03. I am curious to know what i should exspect for milage on this vehichle before major repares are needed. I do the normal upkeep and change things at there recommended times. I drive alot of highway miles. Any ideas how many miles this car should get me before its time to upgrade?

A. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT and they are basically the same car. If you have the 3800 engine then that should last you to 150K miles easily. The only real weakness is the transmission. Is yours supercharged? I know some of the nascar les are Supercharged(Dale Jr for example), but I'm not sure about the Jeff Gordon one.

Q. I have a 2003 Ford Taurus Wagon. The Stereo is acting up in hot weather. Whenever it is really hot the speakers distort with a digital sound effect that really sucks. A. The closest you'll get to dual exhaust is dual tips at the rear merging from where the main exhaust pipe runs under the truck on the passenger side. You won't have a true dual due to the fuel tank being on the inside of the chassis rail. I also have a 2003 Ranger. It's a 3.0L RWD Edge model. I'd prefer not to make it true dual because these trucks are not fast to begin with (not even a 4.0L) and after a few hundred dollars worth of exhaust mods it still won't be worth it ( dollar to power gain ratio ). I worked on real dragstrip musclecars and I would only bother with the dual exhaust if the engine saw a significant gain with just dual exhaust alone. These trucks won't see that. Putting dual exhaust just for looks also screams "poser [cont.]

Does a 2003 Durango transmission have band thickness sensors ?
Q. I have a 2003 Dodge Durango with a 5 speed automatic and a 4.7 Liter engine. It is a 2WD. A person at a transmission shop told me if the Low-Reverse bands are too thin, it has a sensor that will turn on the MIL, (check engine light). He also said I have to get the transmission rebuilt to correct this. I am having a hard time believing this.

A. for the most part, there isn't that much difference. 2003 added some new features and enchanced some existing ones. But from a learning standpoint, if you take a course on excel 2000, you won't be confused. The menu options, etc. are pretty much the same . Since it's a free course, what do you have to lose.
