How can I convert a 2007 access database to 2003?
Q. I tried the file menu conversion, where you save as a 2002-2003 database. This action was carried through with no error messages, but when I open the 2003 database in Office 2003, I get an error on a macro, and several buttons don't work. I already tried taking out the embedded macros offered in 2007 and replacing them with buttons just associated with separate macros, but still no luck. Any suggestions?

How to configuration DHCP on Windows Server 2003 to provide different gateway to different user?
Q. My network has 2 internet gateway. I want to provide automatically this gateway to this user group and the other gateway to the other user group. How can I do it by using DHCP in Windows 2003/XP?

A. Could be done with Reservations, I think. You'd need a separate scope since the gateway is the same within a single scope and subnet. The surest way would be to use another network segment and a second NIC in the server. That way the physical connection that the clients talk to would always be the right one for that part of the network and always get the correct gateway since the broadcast traffic would never reach NIC1. You could use the Server's NICs as a bridge or route between them, depending on how much (if at all?) the computers on the different gateway groups need to talk to each OTHER. Something to think about...

How much to replace front bumper on 2003 Eclipse and have it painted to match?

A person at a transmission shop told me if the Low-Reverse bands are too thin, it has a sensor that will turn on the MIL, (check engine light). He also said I have to get the transmission rebuilt to correct this. I am having a hard time believing this.

What is the difference between Office 2003 and Office 2007?
Q. I'm refering to the textbooks. We are supposed to use the 2007 book instead of the 2003 and I just want to know the difference. I understand that 2007 will teach you how to use the 2007 editions of the applications but is that all? Could I get away with using 2003 edition instead of 2007? I currently use the 2007 software. This is a really easy computer class that i'm just taking for the A.

A. Over time sediment and impurities settle and collect at the bottom of a fuel tank. When your wife ran the vehicle out of gas, this was sucked up into your fuel system. Your Tahoe has an in tank filter as well as a fuel filter. Check the fuel filter under the hood. Also, as new as your vehicle is, it's unlikely there would be enough deposits to cause this, so try cranking it over a few more times. Good luck.

Q. I popped a tire on my 2003 Nissan Sentra. When it was being replaced, one of the wheel studs and lug nuts broke. I have bought a new wheel stud and lug nuts. Is replacing these parts something I can do at home? If so, how? And how dangerous is it to be driving my car around with one wheel stud / lug nut missing? The problem is on the front passenger tire and there are supposed to be four wheel studs / lug nuts. (I'm driving around with three right now.)

A. Not only is it dangerous, but it's a huge legal liability. Without even torque, you can get excessive twisting on the remaining studs. If they break and you're invovled in an accident, they could nail you for negligence. To do this job and home you can try to use a large C clamp. Mount a large socket behind the old stud and a small socket on the broken part. Then compress the C clamp and drive the old stud out. Reverse the process to install the new stud. A. That engine is basically bullet proof... How did it break?? The only way it would die is that no one changed the oil or ran the car with no oil for awhile... I assume a rod broke, or the engine seized?? In anycase it would be cheaper to rebuild it...only if it did not suffer internal engine damage... Otherwise you are looking at over 3 or 4 grand for a low milage engine. If the engine suffered internal damage due to neglect then a rebuild would have to be done by a very reputable, and experienced shop. Otherwise it would be wiser to just replace the engine. You can start with something new...but I would say maintain whatever you buy properly.

A. it's a hose, you undo the hose clamp, pull the oil drain hose off the stud and the oil drains out. you have to remember to "burp" the air out of the hose after you've refilled your oil bag

How to copy table formatting in Word 2003 from a table to another table?
Q. I am using Word 2003 with data over multiple tables all requiring same formatting in terms of cell and column width. How do I copy the formatting from one table to another. I cannot paste the table over and over again.

A. If you find an easy solution to this, I'd like to know about it. That said, this is relatively easy - it is just a round-about way of doing it. Create a macro to perform the same function (adjusting the width of the tables). Macros record what you do (exactly what you do - they can't think for themselves) and when you play the macro - it replicates the action. - first thing - select a table - Start recording a macro (go to your Tools menu --> Macros --> Record new macro) - Give it a name, and assign the macro to a keyboard shortcut (click on the keyboard and press the shortcut key combination - eg. SHIFT + CTRL + G) press close/OK - now the macro is recording, so do everything neatly and in order (I suggest writing down the steps and… [cont.]
