How do you program a keyless remote for a 2002 Honda Civic Ex?
Q. we recently got a used 2002 Honda Civic, but it did not come with any keyless entry remotes. we are planning on buying one or two remotes off of ebay, but we are unsure of how to program them and also where the FCC ID is located on the car. we checked on the frame of the driver-side door where there is a manufacturers label and a car information label, but could not find it. does anybody know how to program a 2002 Honda Civic keyless entry remote? or where to find the FCC ID on the car?

A. You cannot see the retaining clips, they are made into the back of the plastic trim panel. You'll need to insert something thin along the side of the panel and pry it off. Take care not to damage the dash. You can see the instructions here.

How difficult is it to change a blower motor in a 2002 jeep?
Q. My blower motor in my 2002 jeep wrangler burned out. I have changed a blower motor out in a Ford Explore before, but the motors location on the jeep is inside the vehicle as opposed to the Explorer. Is this something I can do myself, or does it require special tools and training?

A. To Remove: NOTE: The blower motor is located below the right side of the instrument panel. The blower motor can be removed without having to remove the instrument panel or the HVAC housing. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Remove the screws that fasten the PCM to the mounting bracket on the engine compartment side of the dash panel. Unplug the connector for the blower motor wire harness. Remove the screws that fasten the blower motor and wheel assembly to the HVAC housing. Turn and tilt the blower motor unit as needed for clearance to remove the blower motor and wheel from the HVAC housing. To Install: NOTE: Failure to install the blower motor assembly correctly could result in an air leak or the blower motor… [cont.]

The dealer tells me I have to change the turn signal/head light switch in the steering wheel, but they also say I have to change some control unit integrated circuits. They don't seem to be sure what the problem is, so before buying some expensive integrated circuits, I wanted to hear some suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem and/or confirm the dealer diagnostics.
