You don't say which engine you have, but I assume that you do not have the V6. The Quad 4 engine came in that car and is an excellent candidate for making a relatively quick car. The 5 speed is an excellent transmission as is the differential. All are reasonably stout pieces of equipment. When GM built them in the W41 Cutlass of the early 90's. they were excellent performers, producing an advertised 190 hp. Since I know you have Yahoo, please check with Quadfourm in Yahoo groups. Q. So my husband is trying to help a friend replace a 2001 Ford Focus engine, but the problem is that for the life of them they can't get the original engine out because it's stuck. They go to lift it out and they end up lifting up the entire car! Any tips?
